EN AW-7050 (AlZn6CuMgZr) per EN 573-3. Zr addition (0.08-0.15%) + T7451 temper (over-aged) dramatically reduces SCC susceptibility vs 7075-T651. Key for thick plate applications (50-200 mm) where 7075-T651 is vulnerable to SCC in short transverse direction. Rm 510 MPa vs 7075-T651 (503 MPa) — essentially equal strength with vastly better SCC resistance. Standard for fighter aircraft wing spars, bulkheads and thick structural plate.
